Interpret the requirements of the drawing and applicable specifications to ensure product conformity.
This function is performed to the customer specifications and drawings. This includes setup and First Article Inspection before performing the drilling, deburring and final assembly operations. All operations on the manufacturing floor follow a checklist which includes inspection verification at critical points in the process.
Work Force Development Center has the capability to drill close tolerance holes, 0”-.004” and debur these holes per drawing specifications.
Determine types of rivets and installation in accordance with customer drawings and specifications. Job setup whether by machine or hand rivet is verified prior to the start of the operation.
Components are sealed/bonded in accordance with customer drawings and specifications, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste. The operations are performed by certified personnel, as required by the customer.
Work Force Development Center utilizes two paint booths to apply Lacquer, Latex, enamel and Epoxy coatings to customer parts per drawing specification. Work Force Development Center has the capability of applying various textures.
Quality Assurance is responsible for performing setup, inprocess and final inspections in accordance with WFDC procedures and to the requirements of the customer drawings and specifications. 100% final inspection is required on all customers’ assemblies.
